United Sports Club loan Nigerian striker Adekunle Owolabi Waheed
United Sports Club have completed the signing of Nigerian striker Adekunle Owolabi Waheed to fill the void left by the departure of Ranti Martins who is set to join Rangdajied United on loan.
Waheed was all smiles when joining his club and expressed his desire to link up with Eric Brown.
"I will try to give my best for United, specially I like to play with Eric Brown, he is a very dynamic and creative player. Hope we will give the best result to United."
The former George Telegraph striker said that he was fit and raring to go and he would be joining the Purple Brigade on loan till the end of the season
"I have played my last game for George Telegraph on December against Police AC in the CFL and now I am in a good condition, I have not a single injury."
Bivas Sarkar, who had fared in the United bench in last year's Calcutta League fixture against Mohun Bagan, returns once again to the reckoning, after having a good season with Pathachakra.
Arjun Chatterjee joins United from Mohun Bagan while Suraj Mandal was playing for Southern Samity.
Jagannath Oraon, a member of the club's U-19 team, has also put the pen to paper to pledge his future to the club.
The club has also roped in as coach SAI's Ananta Kumar Ghosh, who holds an AFC ‘A' licence and will be their chief coach for the remainder of the season.
